The Hunger Project
During my time at the Hunger Project, I worked on multiple projects and initiatives. This involved a website re-design, platform design, and marketing.
Move to End Hunger
The Hunger Project has dedicated over 40 years to creating a world free from hunger through sustainable, grassroots, women-centered strategies. In May 2021, I built a platform for the Move to End Hunger virtual run/walk, which successfully raised $54,000. This platform allowed participants, including FeelGood Chapters, alumni, and supporters, to find information about the fundraiser, register, log hours, and upload media. After launching the site, I conducted a demo session to train staff and participants and created a user guide for easy reference in the event toolkit. Additionally, I assisted in designing content for The Hunger Project's website related to this initiative.
FeelGood Website Re-Design
I also focused on projects related to FeelGood, The Hunger Project's youth engagement program. This initiative empowers college students to transform campuses into effective social enterprises that raise money to combat global hunger—one grilled cheese at a time. During my time there, I collaborated on reimagining the old website, developing a site map and homepage wireframe, and conducting user research to inform our design decisions.
